Enter to win character art and a paperback of Son of the Siren!

Hello friends!

I know I've been bombarding you with emails this month, and I'm so sorry, but there's a lot going on in April! This will be my second giveaway this month, and it starts April 20 and continues to May 11. *If there is a severe lack of entries or stagnation in entries, I may close the contest early.*

I've had six pristine copies of Son of the Siren just chilling, and a surplus of character art cards. Sending them out to reviewers has been a bust, and I'd rather send the books out to people who actually want to read them. Hence this contest!

There will be six winners total and each winner will receive one paperback and three character art cards by Juhaihai (Lirien, Kitra, and Brandegil).

Unfortunately I have to limit this contest to US residents only. The last time I tried to ship to Europe, I was forbidden from mailing books and I don't know if the rule was for that specific country or for all of the EU. On top of that, the tariff situation with the US is stupid and causing nations to enact their own tariffs in retaliation. I have no idea if this will affect the shipping of books or not, but I don't want to risk it. So, for financial reasons, I need to keep it within the US. I'm sorry. But Son of the Siren is distributed through Ingram and is available worldwide for purchase, especially on Amazon, so you can get your copy that way!

The contest is being run through Gleam again and you can click this button to enter.

Good luck to all of you and I'm excited to share my book with you. Thank you!

AUDIOBOOK CONTEST UPDATE: Due to a stagnation in contest entries, I decided to close the giveaway for the audiobook early. Winners will be drawn and contacted 4/20/2025.

They are given access to Advanced Reader Copies where they are able to read the book early before release, and then are asked to leave a review of the book on Goodreads, Amazon, and other...

Kristina Elyse Butke February 24, 2026 February Newsletter Dear readers, friends, and family, February by design is a short month, and it felt like this one went by way too fast in most places, and too long in other places (like waiting to get my first paycheck). January was a bust for teaching due to holidays and snow days, so February was the first time it felt like I had regular classes. On top of that, I am now substitute teaching a third class at the college (about six weeks only) while...

Kristina Elyse Butke December 26, 2025 December Newsletter Dear friends, December was jam-packed, and it's technically not done! Wrapping up classes, grading final papers and final exams, fretting over whether or not I have a job waiting for me in January (I do!!), holiday planning, and write, write, writing. The month isn't over yet (I'm sending this out early), but I'm wondering...how was your December? I hope you had a wonderful holiday! What I'm Reading I've slowed down on reading this...
